What Do I Do Next?
If you prayed to ask Jesus into your life and meant it with your whole heart, He heard you and your life will never be the same. The Bible tells us in Romans 10:9 that if we confess with our mouths the Lord Jesus and believe in our hearts that God raised Him from the dead, we shall be saved.
God listens to those of us who have come to Jesus and repented of our sins. We need to continue to pray, to talk to God, and to be thankful for what He has done.
Reading the Bible is also necessary for our spiritual growth. There are many new things we need to learn, and unlearn, and we need other more mature Christians to help us along the path. It is often recommended that we start our Bible reading with the gospel of John, which is said to be the simplest of the four gospels to understand.
Finding a local Bible-believing church and attending it each week will also help with your spiritual growth. Know that God loves you and so do I.
